WeeVeg is an automated growing system that allows people to grow a wealth of nutrition on their kitchen backsplash. Using microgreens, WeeVeg maximizes the nutrition content per square inch while minimizing the time and effort required to successfully grow, and empowers people to take control of their health.

User testing and research yielded important criteria that helped hone product function and how it fits into busy lifestyles. It was critical to capture the sense of accomplishment while simplifying the growing process to a few easy steps.
WeeVeg uses an automated water wall to simplify the growing process. A stainless steel wall is contained in a 2 part injection molded body with cork details. The water wall has precisely located magnets to ensure the satisfying click of self-locating seed quilts.
WeeVeg would use online retail in a direct to consumer model for the first 3 years. The seed quilts would provide recurring revenue through a tiered subscription model. This allows flexibility based on need and the convenience of buying all components from one place. WeeVeg will capitalize on energy from social media as a vehicle for acquiring customers.
